Moșnița Nouă & Chevereșul Mare

The “Emaus” Baptist Christian Church, Moşniţa Nouă, was established on April 28, 2008, on the initiative and as a Mission Church of the Baptist Christian Church No. 1 “Betel” Timişoara.

The location, from the date of establishment until now, is in Moşniţa Nouă, no. 69/A, in the home of pastor brother Cuzman Ioan; a plot of land was received, with a total area of ​​2192 sq m.

The “Betel” Baptist Christian Church Chevereşu Mare was established on 25.02.2001, on the initiative and as a Mission Church of the “Betel” Baptist Christian Church Timişoara, in the locality of Chevereşu Mare as property of the “Betel” Baptist Christian Church Timişoara, purchased through the financial support of a Church in the USA – San Vicente Community Church, and arranged as a place of worship, through the own effort of the “Betel” Baptist Christian Church Timişoara.

These mission churches can be, and should be, a good opportunity for work and relaxation for the youth of the “Betel” Church in Timişoara.

 

Nițchidorf

The mission work in the Nitchidorf commune began in 1998 with a group of young people from the Bethel church together with a small number of brothers who initially went to the house of brother Sami Tuțac’s parents. Later, a house was purchased where people could come to hear the Gospel.After a few months, brother Daniel Bejinar took over the mission work, being ordained as a missionary pastor by the Bethel church in Timișoara.In 2000, a new church was built with the help of brothers from the Bethel church and from the United States.Together with those there, a mission work was started in the neighboring village of Blajova, where evangelism was carried out and Bibles and brochures were distributed throughout the village.So far, two baptisms have taken place at the river that runs through the village. Although there is no church building there yet, people meet every Sunday in a hall of the Cultural Center.
Nitchidorf has a youth and adolescent ministry, which meets weekly for Bible study and worship. This year, four young people made a covenant with the Lord in the water of baptism.

We are grateful to the Lord for His work that we can be a part of, and we feel honored and blessed.

 

Folea

This church came into being in the year 2000. During this time God worked on the hearts of some people, who made a covenant with Him and became members of the church.
Currently we are 12 members. During these years we have had activities with children, taking them to camps, missions and also evangelism evenings and prayer nights together with the surrounding churches. God worked in a special way in the Hanes family Nicolae and Ana, completely changing their behavior and character, thus becoming a testimony for the entire village of Folea.
We hope that God will continue to work, convincing people that they need salvation.

 

Biled

The Betel Biled Baptist Christian Church has a considerable presence in the locality. It has stood the test of time, having continuity. Numerically it has fluctuated over time. It currently has 24 members and is dynamic. It has a beautiful ministry with children, most of whom come from non-evangelical families. It also has a ministry with women in which friends from the locality and special guests from the Baptist community participate.

We thank the Lord for the victory we have in His name and for the Bethel Church in Timișoara on the anniversary hour.

 

Voiteg

The beginning of the Baptist Church in Voiteg is linked to a great misfortune.
On December 2, 1990, an earthquake occurred here that destroyed many houses in the village. A group of brothers from the Şega Church in Arad, at the initiative of brother Pășcuț Nistor, came, saw the seriousness of the situation and helped families in dire straits, then preached the Gospel in the open air. The meetings were held in the field until the fall of 1991, and with the arrival of the cold, the congregation began to meet in a house. In the fall of 1994, the current church building was inaugurated. The church was later taken over and supported by the “Betel” Baptist Church in Timișoara. Brothers Ghiță Alecsei, Mircea Coroamă, and currently Valentin Giurici were involved here with devotion. The brothers from the Church in Voiteg took the initiative to start a church in the neighboring village of Folea in 2000.
Currently, the church has 20 members and a group of 15-20 children and young people from non-evangelical families. Children and young people benefit from special attention through weekly meetings, summer camps and vacation Bible schools.
As a result of the investment in children, we give the example of a girl of about 10 years old who started coming to Sunday school meetings, then her mother came, reconciled with God and was baptized.
This is how God changed misfortune into blessing and the people of Voiteg can know Him.
